Data residency, approval thresholds and model restrictions are enforced on every single agent action — not reviewed after the fact. The EU AI Act, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD) and the NIS2 Directive are addressed in the architecture. They are not handled in an annex.

What is BRAIAN?
BRAIAN is a software product: an AI operating system that runs business processes autonomously under your governance. Control plane, orchestration, evaluation, and observability in one platform — deployed, configured, and operated as a product, not built as a project.
What does 'operator-grade' mean?
It means production-ready, monitored, governed, and continuously evaluated. Not a demonstration. Not a prototype. BRAIAN runs critical business processes with reliability guarantees, policy enforcement, and a complete audit trail for every agent decision.
How quickly can results be measured?
Most organizations start with a scoped pilot on one real process. Baseline metrics are captured before go-live, and the platform's own observability layer measures cycle time, automation rate, and policy compliance from day one.
Which certifications and standards do you follow?
Our engineering practices align with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001, with certification in preparation, and SOC 2 Type II is planned. The product supports EU AI Act, GDPR, and Swiss nFADP requirements. Current status is published in the Trust Center.
Is ÆTERION a consulting firm?
No. We build and sell a software product. BRAIAN is deployed in your environment and operated by your team. We do not sell advisory hours, assessments, or reports — we ship a platform that runs your processes.
How does governance work in practice?
Governance is enforced by the control plane at runtime: approval thresholds, data-residency rules, and model policies apply to every execution. Every agent decision is recorded in an append-only audit trail, with EU AI Act readiness built in from the start.
How is BRAIAN priced?
Three plans — Pilot, Scale, and Enterprise — based on the number of processes, agents, and environments you run. Pricing is product licensing, not billable hours. Details are on the pricing page.
Is BRAIAN a SaaS platform?
BRAIAN is offered as a managed deployment on Swiss or EU infrastructure, or inside your own cloud. Either way it is the same product, with the same control plane, release cycle, and audit model — not a bespoke build.
What about technology lock-in?
BRAIAN is built on open standards with documented APIs, exportable audit logs, and a deployment model that can run in your own cloud. Our exit strategy is documented in the Trust Center — your data, configurations, and evidence remain yours.
Does BRAIAN work with our existing systems?
Yes. BRAIAN connects to the systems you already run — SAP, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Slack, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Jira — and orchestrates processes on top of them. It extends your stack; it does not replace it.
